Attractive, classic map of Iceland. Fiords, rivers, heavily indented coastline and an erupting volcano all combine to make a compelling image of the island. Numerous city and town names, though few are recognizable. The fictitious island of Frisland enters map at lower left, adding charm. From a German edition of Atlas Minor, text on verso. Faint age toning, full margins. Printer's crease at right, affecting border mostly but some small affect on image.  Published in Amsterdam.
